Our Story

My wife Mary and I grew up in the same town on Long Island with the nearest beach just 5 miles away. To us, summertime meant jamming out with the windows down on ocean parkway headed to Lido Beach in Lido, NY. The memories we made here were unforgettable.

Fast forward to October of 2021: I proposed to Mary as the sun was setting at our favorite place: Lido Beach. It was the absolute perfect night. We have since gotten married and moved back into our hometown. 

Like many of you, the pandemic has opened up the flexibility for me to work from home. This sparked my longing for a work buddy to have around the house while Mary was off teaching high school math on the island. So, I surprised Mary with a beautiful golden retriever puppy for Christmas. Of course, we named him Lido! Our love for all things beach, dogs, and coffee has sparked the creation of Lidos Coffee Company. We are inspired to bring people the joy that both Lido Beach and our puppy Lido have brought us through our ethically sourced, premium coffee. 

My mom's favorite saying is "Do all the good you can, for all the people you can, in every way you can, for as long as you can." With this in our hearts, Lido's Coffee Company will be donating a portion of all sales to help clean our beaches and give our dogs a voice.  As Lidos Coffee Company grows, we plan to help "in every way we can, for as long as we can."
